Within their extensive portfolio the team focuses on supporting patients through one of the most emotionally complex and clinically demanding healthcare journeys. The fertility path can be overwhelming, shaped by hope, uncertainty, tough decisions, and a constant need for clear information.
Many individuals navigate this journey with limited support and inconsistent resources. We recognized an opportunity to improve the patient experience by providing guidance that is empathetic, informative, and tailored to individual pathways. We partnered with Organon to create a suite of resources that help patients feel informed, supported, and prepared at every step.
the CHALLENGE
The fertility journey is one of the most emotionally layered experiences in healthcare. Patients move through cycles of hope, uncertainty, fear, and anticipation while trying to understand a wide range of medications, procedures, and treatment decisions. Many patients described feeling overwhelmed and alone, with limited access to clear guidance at moments when they needed it most. Organon needed a way to deliver education that was empathetic, accurate, and adaptable to many different scenarios.
This meant creating support that could help individuals with:

Navigating choices that often change based on response or circumstance

The solution
We partnered with Organon to build a suite of resources that brought structure, compassion, and clarity to the fertility journey. The focus was on giving women information that felt relevant, reassuring, and easy to navigate.
Understanding the journey: Conducted strategic mapping of different fertility journeys to understand key decision points, emotional patterns, and areas where guidance was most lacking.
Modular educational tools: Based on these insights, we built a collection of modular patient materials that could be selected according to individual needs. These included resources for early treatment preparation, emotional coping, understanding infertility, and navigating repeated failed cycles.
Comprehensive educational manual: The strength of this work led the global team to request a full manual. We developed an extensive guide, which ended up being over 100 pages that detailed the IVF experience from start to finish with practical steps, medical explanations, and supportive language.
Patient website experience: To broaden access, we reimagined the manual as an online experience. The website allowed patients to move through information in flexible ways that mirrored the individuality of their journey, creating a supportive and self-guided environment.
Experience-based navigation: Integrated real-life experiences from patients and IVF nurses to bring relatability in a way text alone could not. These supportive voices helped orient users and directed them toward information that matched their needs, creating a more intuitive and relevant experience.
